At the Vienna Airport.

Not only does the Vienna airport have Starbucks, they also have FREE wireless for your laptop.  Chasity and I spent the night last night at a hotel literally 25 feet from the main terminal of the airport because she had a 7am flight and wanted to make sure there were no problems getting to the airport by 5.  I woke up at 4 when she woke up and never fell back to sleep, so I spent 3 hours taking a nice long bath, washing a few articles of clothing (and trying to dry them with a hair dryer- bad idea, but what do you expect at 4am), and repacking my suitcase.  I ended up ready much earlier than I needed to be but decided to come on over to the airport.  I checked in almost 3 hours before my flight, so you can imagine I was pretty happy to discover that I could play on the internet for free (especially after paying the equivalent of 9 USD for an iced vanilla latte and blueberry muffin from Starbucks… ouch).

It’s hard to believe that I’ve been in Europe for five weeks, and even harder to believe that I’m leaving already.  I’ve decided not to upload any more pictures to this blog, but I’ll add them to my flickr site as I have time- I’m going to be really busy for the next few weeks as I move out of Columbia, spend a few days in North Carolina, and then drive cross-country with my Dad to Seattle.  The drive is about 44 hours (according to MapQuest), but I’m actually looking forward to it.  At this point, I’ve visited more countries than States and other than one trip to Hawaii I’ve never been west of Missouri.  I’m excited about getting to see more of my own country.

Okay, I apologize if I’m rambling or if this post is grammatically incorrect or incoherent.  I’m going to end here and go find a newspaper for the flight before it’s time to board… bon voyage!
